1. We Don't Collect Your Data

SMS Forwarder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, messages, analytics, or usage data. The app has no backend servers and no accounts. We have no way of seeing who is using the app or what they're forwarding.

2. How the App Works

All configuration (destinations, filters, labels) is stored locally on your device. Message forwarding is handled entirely by Apple's Shortcuts automations — the app itself never reads your SMS or iMessage content, and nothing passes through our infrastructure.

3. Third-Party Destinations

When you configure a destination (Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, email, another phone, or a custom webhook), your iPhone sends messages directly to that destination over the network. Those services have their own privacy policies that govern what happens to the data on their end. We are not involved in that delivery and have no visibility into it.

4. No Analytics, No Tracking

The app does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking. There is no opt-out toggle because there is nothing to opt out of.

5. Your Rights

Since we don't collect anything, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. You can wipe all locally stored configuration at any time by deleting the app from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

SMS Forwarder is not directed to children under the age of 13. Because we don't collect any information from anyone, no information is collected from children either.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we ever update this Privacy Policy, we'll post the revised version on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
